About Ben Siegrist
Along with my wife and 4 children, I split my time between our family grain farm in Northwestern Missouri and Southern Lancaster County where I work in Investment and real estate sales. We operate and manage investment real estate in the Midwest and the East Coast. My wife, Camille, and I have been active in the Republican Party and have served as Republican Committee members. We are active members of Willow Street Mennonite Church, Lampeter-Strasburg Youth Soccer and Lampeter- Strasburg Field Hockey. Both our families have lived in Lancaster County, PA for generations and trace our roots back to some of the earliest Swiss settlers. I was raised on a farm and also helped in the family home-building business. After high school, I worked for a local farming operation and also for a large hay/straw operation, as well as growing mechanically harvested fresh market green beans on my own.
I attended Millersville University and Eastern University for Political Science and spent time interning for former Congressman Joe Pitts in his Washington DC office. Subsequently, I served locally on the Providence Township Board of Supervisors from 2002 to 2008 as a member and Vice-Chairman as well as Chairman of the Agricultural Security Area Advisory Committee.
I graduated from the Worldwide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa in 2002, and in 2003 I completed my Real Estate Licensing and joined Kingsway Realty. Beginning in 2005, I became a full partner at Kingsway Realty and have since served in multiple capacities for the company including the Board of Directors; meanwhile consistently earning top sales awards for the company. I have served in various capacities for the Lancaster County Association of Realtors including the Governmental Affairs Committee and the Consumer Grievance Panel and as a State Director representing the Lancaster County Association of Realtors.
